This event is the premier beer-tasting & brew-teaching event in the Great Lakes Area. There will be three tasting sessions (Friday 4:30-9:00, Saturday 11:00-3:30, and Saturday 4:30-9:00) and eight 50-minute classes (Friday at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 2:00, 3:00 and Saturday at 9:00, and 10:00) taught by Randy Mosher, John Palmer, Stan Hieronymus, and Dr. Brad Smith.

We’re committed to providing a Brewer-Centric Event and The Taproom Experience for attendees. Each brewery will bring a Taproom-Only Beer and/or a Rare Limited-Release Option for each of the three sessions.

John Palmer

John J. Palmer is the author of the self-published book, How to Brew and an active member of the homebrewing community. Palmer began writing How to Brew in 1995. The website The Real Beer Page hosted the first edition of the book at howtobrew.com. Palmer self-published a print edition of How to Brew in 2000. The Third Edition was released in late May 2006.

  • How will my ticket be delivered?
  • Once you purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email from Eventbrite on behalf of Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival. Your e-ticket(s) will be attached to your order confirmation email. Make sure to print them out and bring them to the event. IMPORTANT: If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder.
  • I need to update the name on my ticket, where can I do that?

  • If I buy a general admission ticket can I update it to VIP at the event?
  • You will not be able to upgrade your ticket at the door. We expect all VIP tickets to sell out soon and can not hold them for door upgrades.

  • Will it be the same beers in the VIP area for all sessions?
  • No, the beers in the VIP will change each session.
  • What is the beer list for the VIP room.?
  • We will be offering a number of beers, but the current list includes: Biere de Miel from Jester King

Food

  • What food will be served at the Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival?
  • VIP attendees will be offered tasty appetizers and finger food in the VIP room. General admission attendees will be offereds pretzels.

Beer

  • When will the beer list be released?
  • Due to the taproom and special release nature of the event, some of the breweries will not be able to inform us of what they are bringing for a couple of weeks. We will start releasing the list very soon.
  • How many samples will be provided?
  • Unlimited 3 oz pours will be provided to all attendees. The difference for VIP is the early access, VIP-only beers, food, and a VIP lounge.
  • Should I bring my own glass?
  • Glasses will be provided to all attendees on entrance.
